I had no idea that Eaves had so many points this year. Was shocked when I saw the cost, (conditional 1st) but not once I saw stat totals. He really has 21 goals in 59 games! Yowza. I didn't think, even healthy, he was a 20+ goal scorer. Guess I don't watch enough Dallas hockey.

This is a pretty meh return for the kind of production eaves generates - I understand he sees a lot of PP time, but still. I would have presumed the price would go up closer to TDL.

The playoffs out West are a complete crapshoot like any team can advance. If it is a late 2nd the Stars lost out but if it's a late first then its a win for both teams.

The Stars will be Duck fans come playoff time. I am surprised there isn't a prospect thrown in for a 50 pt player.
