I have openly been on the sell train all year and have consistently argued in favor of Hansen having good value...

If Hansen can be dealt & JB is actually shopping him or listening to offers I'd want a good F prospect over a draft pick. My reasoning is only cup contenders would part with a 1st & most likely its a very late 1st. Therefore the propect would be a better talent & further developed than what this draft has mostly to offer. More teams r in the mix for us to trade with in my scenario IMO.

If the market for Hansen is only a 2nd then i prefer a good prospect even more so unless JB has something else up his sleeve at draft time &/or the e-draft prepping.

The hysteria that will follow the TDL will come from those who see it as a huge opportunity missed. Falsely at that. The TDL is only to extract more from cup contenders if they pull the trigger. If no bites nothing is lost & on to the post TDL phase of asset management. Its only a deadline date for the PO's & many rosters will be juggled this offseason leading up to the e-draft. I predict Sbisa will be picked if no D is traded. Hansen is unprotected but only a 1yr rental IMO. He could be trade bait but his 8 team list would be prolly be the same as this year. So idk how he is traded any easier next year than this year other than he becomes a UFA. His contract makes him a valuable addition this year or next without much change in the market if any.

If this is the case they have to take whatever they can for him and if that were something like Nick Paul and a 3rd (Ottawa)or something like that you have to take it.

The TDL is no barrier other than players r ineligible for the PO's.

I don't think I've ever been banned. What do you have to do to get banned? I've crossed the line a couple times, but it's all in fun, never serious. Most mods get my sense of humour.
