I think Eichel is finally as healthy as one can be during an NHL season though. He seems to be skating hitch free finally. I'm sure it still bugs him, but not enough to really have much of an effect on his stride.

The NHL can do hundreds of things to increase scoring and their solution is to make the goalies wear tight pants. Ridiculous.

Make 2 consecutive icings by the same line a minor penalty. Remove legal icing while killing a penalty. Make the red-line the offsides line. Make a slash or high-sticking penalty a double-minor. Remove the trapezoid.

Or you know, actually call an interference or holding penalty for once.

I have had the conversation before about delayed penalties. Instead of touching the puck, make the team clear the zone to get the whistle. We are 3rd in PP% still I think and at about 22.5%? If you have a powerplay, you should be better than that. Give them a full 2 minutes, score or not.

Jack now at .90 points per game, 36 points in 40 games (won't count this one until it's over). Matthews is at .885, which is awesome especially for an 19 year old, but talk of eichel < Matthews is wrong.

Yeah, a full duration regardless of goals scored would work. Like I said. They can do hundreds of things to change the game right now and they refuse to. They shun creative playing and then female dog that their stars don't score enough. They say defend you team mates and goalie then get mad when you send a goon out there. All the big-4 have their problems but the NHL is by far the most incompetent.

Glad he did it . Had a goal and assist last season 2 or 4 games ? I thought big impact we would see . saw nothing special. rest of the team seemed the same. Times are dif. he is producing and so is the rest of the team. conditioning in Roch seemed too have helped .
