I am of the mind that, barring some sort of miracle, our season is essentially over. So why not let a new coach come in and start the players getting adjusted to his style of management and play. Kind of a head-start so they don't have to try and pick it all up in training camp next year.

But I can understand (as much as I don't like it) waiting til the offseason to make this move

It's very rare that the new head coach is brought in mid-season
It's usually just someone else on the staff who takes over as the interim
Then the new coach gets named in the offseason

Unless there's a guy out there now, & they wanna make him an offer before another team might.... then it probably makes sense to just wait

What an effin joke. Season just mirrored the Bills season. This team doesn't look close to being ready to compete in the playoffs. Who knows when they'll be back in.
