I don't know if Vanek would have signed with the Sabres. One thing you have to say about Darcy. He was a great GM in regards to trading. Not the best in scouting.

Now that we have completed our rediculous league mandated break and all of the teams we are competing with are about even in games played it is pretty obvious now that it is time to talk how do we prepare for next year and not playoffs.
