Who could we bring up that replaces what Burrows brings? Nobody that's who. Who could we sign for, likely around 1-1.5, that does what Burrows does in UFA? Nobody, that's who. a Younger player like Burrows would be looking for min 2, prob around 3. I'd stay away personally.

I see Burrows re-signing a 1 year deal around 1mil. Which is fine, i can't think of anyone better to be our 4LW in the pipe. I also don't want a 2-2.5mil UFA for that role for 3 years that is only a slight upgrade on burrows.

Burrows-Labate-Dorsett could be a decent energy hitting line with minimal production and defensively responsible.

I hope we DO NOT bring back any players on expiring or shipped out contracts. If they are coaching staff fine.
Bring in Labate, one or 2 of the college kids, Virtanen, sign Carol's boy Archibald & give him another try just get younger and let go of the past finally.
No more free-agent signings, unless they are college/overage juniors (Tavares in 2018 is acceptable).
Speed and physicality and youth are needed, not reliving the past or sentimental signings.
