I agree with this. Selling functional assets for a pile of scraps and random maybe's isn't working out. They need to admit this is who the are and try to do better at it. |

I like 90 as a player but no way he is worth 7.5 mill. He is way over priced. Only player that deserves to make that kind of money on this team is Eichel.
I think Murray should be canned. |

If you're paying ROR 5.5 mil is this team and organization somehow better? Measurably? |

It makes little difference. You only have 3 or 4 other players that will be making big money in the next few years. It wont be a cap problem. |

We paid a UFA price. Only way it was getting done. And it was only a modest raise anyway. It's not like he went from $3.5M to $7.5M. Blame Calgary for that stupid offer sheet. |

Over $6M.
Edit: Exactly $6M. So a 25% raise the first time he could have become a UFA. Okposo went from $2.8M to $6M. |

Went to the game, my friend and I got $6 tickets on stub hub on the blue line in the 300's. I don't get the spazzing out over the loss, this team is out of the playoffs, they have a weak D some young forwards who screw up as well. It is what it is right now. Now, we see who they deal at the deadline. Tank III is beginning to be set in motion. Only in Buffalo would Joel Armia get such fond postings with tinkle in eyes. I could not see a fringe player like that given so much love. A certain poster on here should start the Joel Armia Library for him and be done with it. |

Losing because you get outplayed for 60 is one thing. I remember watching that nightly in 2002 in the bankruptcy years. That was disheartening but the new Sabres have taken on the "Any new low we can find" mentality of the Bills. You have the ultimate commitment, financial and fan support yet fail spectacularly. It's not acceptable. |

Yeah, like I said, blame Calgary.
I think he's probably $500K overpaid. He's a 60-65 point player who wins faceoffs(I know, I know they don't matter), kills penalties(this years team for some reason is horrible at it, but that's not on him entirely) plays the PP(they've been the best PP, or top 3-5 all year), and he plays a lot of big minutes. He's not a flashy player, he never has been. By and large he's worth his salary. |

What's all the anger going to do? Did you expect the playoffs this year with that D? With the inexperience leading the way in your core and not enough talent to supplement the core yet? I watch and go to the games for the entertainment value and there was some tonight. They lost but it's really not going to be the last thing I think of tonight or the first thing I think of tomorrow. |
