Why hire a guy to coach a young rebuilding team whose system is this complicated?

Pegula needs to just write checks and stop making decisions. Let the guys he's hired to make those decisions do their job.

As long as he gets free reign to actually hire a coach, then I don't care when Bylsma is fired - now, offseason, or shortly into another failed start next season

This is quite good.

First off it's hard to compare the trade and put Roslovic as one of the pieces for comparison, because we would not have drafted him. We had O'Reilly, Reinhart and Eichel for our centers. Look at the next 10 guys selected and not really many game changers in the bunch.

Second thing, after looking at some stats after the game I was surprised that Risto only had 4 goals. I would have guessed he had at least double that. He is tied at 3rd with 150 shots on goal and only has 4 goals? Shooting at a 2.6% rate? I know he has a lot of assists many of which were shots that were tipped, but I am pretty sure they don't count as SOG. Without looking up other dmen around the league, I would have to say this is extremely low for sh%.
