I swear that was the deadline that had a huge rumoured trade between the sabres and caps also and then that trade came in at like 4:30 eastern time. Maybe trade fell through with buffalo so Nashville took the opportunity to fleece them as they had a press conference already booked ? i don't know, thats the only logical reasoning i see behind that bogus trade
