Just saw the Oduya trade... I remember a lot of people wanted McNeil (sp?) on this team... Is he any good?

Id bet gio just to see how he felt if he wants to stay or go for a few months. Everyone else I dont think has earned the right for a pre trade meeting. Unless it was youve been traded

Have to disagree here. Lehner coming out screams lack of trust in his defence and his instincts were right. Bogo was there but he was never really never on him and his attempt to recover after the fact was very reminiscent of the disconnected controller ovechkin play.

Exactly. No REAL effort causes Lehner to have to make a drastic, possibly injuring himself, just so a defensive play is made.

On this goal, he made a halfp-a$$ed effort to keep his man in front of him, while getting caught puck watching after Lehner came out to save Bogo's a$$. He was in no way on his man the whole play. Lehner did that out of lack of confidence in his defenseman.

Which gets to the heart of my issue with Bylsma's system. we don't have the d men to play his defensive system. Toronto realized that and decided to take chances to cover that up. Bylsma doubles down on parking the bus

I am all about shopping for a new coach. I never liked bringing him in with his confusing systems. They have never panned out anywhere.
