Well Gorges was signed to get to the cap floor, so that was sort of a necessary evil. Franson was the best FA dman left last year. Had we not signed him to that deal, we would would have had room for Jason Demers. Kulikov is brutal and that's totally on Murray. Bogo was a money in/money out to get Kane.

I'm watching Colorado VERY closely today... they still have Duchene and Landy who would be absolute blockbusters to get dealt. They would completely change the landscape of the playoffs if they get moved. Other teams would have to be desperate and make moves then as well.

I think we'll see Kuli and Franson traded for picks today. Nilsson to Edm could happen. I think Murray wants to see what he has in Ullmark after his season in the 585.

We could also see a surprise move. Foligno and Girgensons are probably on some teams radar.

The real fun will be at the expansion draft, free agency and the draft. Maybe the hockey gods will smile on us and we'll win the lottery.

Oh and fire BYLDUCT. His system blows.

What a game last night. Was at the arena... Sabres looked great for about 55 minutes.
If they could play a complete game it would be something.
Much improved this season. Looks to be some real potential going forward here (just need some better D)

I think the days of the Deadline blockbusters are long gone. The TDL gets WAY over hyped every year in resent years and nothing happens except a couple of teams rent guys.

I think it was more the channel than being appreciated. If they were to have been hired by ESPN, you would have seen a better following. The only time people watch FS1 are when there are live games on (MLB, College Football, College Basketball, etc.).

Hopefully, they anchor Friday nights again. CTV shows a rerun of the nightly SportsCentre on Saturdays around noon.

yea.. purgatory where we have a pillar young d-men in Risto and McCabe... Amazing cornerstone centers like Eichel and ROR. Some proven scorers like Kane, Okposo, and Reinhart. And prospects like Nylander, Asplund, Peterson, and Borgen.

Def the same as the Hodgson and Myers days.

Just my 2 cents. The Dlo/Fasching trade looks horrible. No defending that one. Had we not made that trade we would have McCabe/Risto, McNabb/Bogo and Erod instead of DLO. Franson, Gorges and Bogo all have reasonable explanations for why they're here
