Just my 2 cents. The Dlo/Fasching trade looks horrible. No defending that one. Had we not made that trade we would have McCabe/Risto, McNabb/Bogo and Erod instead of DLO. Franson, Gorges and Bogo all have reasonable explanations for why they're here

this team with all the guys murray brought in is

0-8-2 vs devils, bruins, and canes this season
just lost 4 in a row, 2 games vs the bottom 2 in the league
has blown 2 goal leads in 3rd period twice

and has a coach that gave 8 forwards more ice time than eichel in the first period the other night


it's a clusterf@ck and you guys are all holding onto potential

Have to disagree here. Lehner coming out screams lack of trust in his defence and his instincts were right. Bogo was there but he was never really never on him and his attempt to recover after the fact was very reminiscent of the disconnected controller ovechkin play.

I wasn't saying Lehner shouldn't have come out. I was surprised he did it, but I understand why. I was mostly pointing out that Bogosian wasn't behind the net. He wasn't doing what he should, but he wasn't behind the net either.

"Team sucks" is a bit much. Team is mediocre, yeah. '13-'14 Sabres sucked. Top 6 LW, Top 4 D and a new system and the team looks much different imo

Overreact much? We'd all like the rebuild to be quicker, but we were a 52 point team, or so, in back to back seasons in 2014 and 2015. Last year we improved by 29 points and this year we'll probably improve by a couple points. How was GMTM to know Kulikov would get a freak injury and be horrible and Bogo to turn into crap? With the level our goalie's have played at, if Jack wouldn't have got hurt and those two D played like they historically did we'd be a playoff team easily. I'm not happy with this year, but, if you're going to sh*t on GMTM for thse two D, give him credit for probably being correct on Lehner and Kane's surge.
