Throw out aaron Dell's stats (he has only faced 330 shots) and Jimmy Howard (426) shots, and Lehner is top-10 in Save percentage and has faced the most shots.


He is statistically above average. He's what you try to get for a late first rounder

There will be some send downs today too due to them needing to be on the roster to qualify for the AHL playoffs... don't panic.

He hasn't had the best outings over the last week or so. But it's not all on him. At one point last night he had given up 4 goals, but that happened on 4 shots, so he was still at .900sv%.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it was the 3rd goal that I really would have liked him to get. Take out where he had a massively failed Hasek like attempt, and we may have actually gotten the W last night as well.

He blew this trade, and the Bogo piece of the Kane/Myers trade was a fail.

I like the Lehner deal. Who the hell else were we going to land? If we all had a crystal ball and know Bishop was going to be traded for nothing maybe we ride out Johnson for a while longer but at the time Lehner was are best shot and TM is not about waiting.
