Yeah, I wasn't suggesting waiving him prior to the start of next season. I'm just saying its no big deal if several kids look ready in camp and they're going to end up with 8 d-men on the roster to start next season, waiving Manning and sending him to the AHL at that point is a no-brainer to me.

I don't think Hextall will do that. They are viewed as everyday defensemen by Flyers management. More so than MDZ.

I don't think we'll ever see MacDonald waived again, but if they let Manning stand in the way of one of Morin/Sanheim/Hagg/Myers if they have a good camp and preseason I'd be pretty surprised and pissed.

Must be. Prob I have with it is that if he's not selected by Vegas, he's here and if the plan is to have him be the number 1 and ease stollie in, you know neuvy will get hurt and it'll all be on stollie.
