Tryamkin and Forsling sure, but the rest are just the same late round picks that every team has a couple of in their system. - Lindenis#1
That's because they are playing in the NHL now. Easy to say they made it.
But, sorry you can't say that about Gaudette, Brisbois and Lockwood who haven't turned pro yet. It's like wrighting off Hansen and Burrows when they came into the system. You can say they have shown promise where they are at and go from there. They all have potential. Let's see what they do as pro's in AHL before writing them off. |

I usually don't start following prospects until their draft years, I've read that he's just as feisty as his brother.
Martin Necas is my fav of the centers this year after the big 2 - Nucker101
He seems to have a similiar skillset to Mittlestadt but 20 pounds lighter. Neca's foot speed is faster I imagine. Would you take him 4rth?

Gaudette has impressed immensely in his soph season.
Made huge strides in 1 year & projects very nicely.
Lockwood as a freshman & smallish is too early to judge.
Projection jury is out til a larger sampling.
Brisebois in QMJHL is hardest to peg other than he is a Captain on both teams he has played for with 1 team being horrible. |

The parade of "mentors" that Edmonton and Buffalo and Arizona have had for years have really stopped those franchises from being losers. - Lindenis#1
Exactly can't pick up a discard and think he's coming into the room to tell you what to do. They just try to play well enough to stay on the team. Whole different mind set. |

4OA...no
Don't pick players higher than necessary but trade down to do it.
If he is the target then acquire more assets/picks. |

Just cuz a player is veteran does not make him a mentor.
Too many struggle year to year to even be in the NHL.
By all accounts Dorsett has been a mentor for BO etc.
Hansen & Burrows also were exactly that & idk who else fits into that mould.
UFA's r not my style next season & none impress me as mentors that we want. |

You would rather Mittlestadt at 4. I know that. I haven't picked Nuckers mind on this draft class yet.

Charlottetown second best win percentage in the Q this year. Hopefully a long playoff run and an appearance in the Mem cup. |

That is in fact the main goal of this draft. To pick a top 6 playmaking Centreman - NorthNuck
Only seem to be a couple of those so tall order. I'd be happy with BPA. |

Charlottetown, Brandon, London and Windsor are who I hope to see in Memorial Cup. Will then get to see 3 of our prospects, Brisebois, O'Neil & Juolevi, as well as potentially get to see our 1st round pick in Patrick or Vilardi.(Vilardi automatically makes it as Spitfire hosting). |

Brandon is on a 5 game losing streak. |

Happy with the TDL. Play these young guys, let them get a taste. The Columbus 2nd and some lottery luck is what's needed now. Pressures off WD, seeing the way you work with these kids will determine if you're back next year. |

Yeah, I was just looking at that. Been following Kelowna and Tri-City this season as I like a few players on those teams. Brandon may not even make it.. Hope to see another high ranked player if Patrick doesn't make it. |

A friend who is close with some high ups with the Wheat kings expect Patrick to be back next year and will be going for another title.

Both look like they would be worth a look. I posted Zwerger on here a couple months ago & got shot down from the masses.

THIS. His systems are garbage. Every time they dump the puck in on the power play I cringe. - Crazybagoham

We should have trade an older d man. Prices were sky high and we have enough prospects. |

Prolly but so much depends on who the 3 picked ahead r.
BPA is all fine n dandy but AV's & Yotes need D most.
I don't see them passing a C to pick Liljgren without trading down.
So between now & the draft much can change. |

He's definitely a great skater, I love how agile he is. And to me he's feisty, elusive and smart enough to succeed in the NHL as a smaller guy, especially in today's style of play. He's just one of those guys who hard to hit and makes his linemates look better than they are. Not going to be that prototype big #1 stud Center of course but his skill/speed/hockey sense is all there.
As of now, I have him 4th but that's subject to change since id like to see some more extended game tape of some others, including Mittlestadt. |
