Ask any GM, if they are going to miss the playoffs and have pending UFA's they are going to move them for Draft picks.

Rob Ray needs to look at recent drafts then.

Salary and cap room have to come into play here, too. You just can't say, "draft picks are being offered" and assume that's that. Murray is a wheeler and a dealer, I think we all know that, regardless of your views of how he's done with those trades. If there was a deal to be made, he would have made it.

Maybe team A WAS offering draft pick B for one of our ufa D, but insisted that we take back player X in the deal. Had we done that, Murray would have been lynched.

Either way, it's all speculation for 99% of us. The other 1% on here, the "experts", can clearly do Murray's job better than him, so b!tch away, GM's.
