I'm more mad that we are pretty good at times but our defense is so shoddy that we can't hold 2-goal leads. In the last 20 games we have blown 2-goal leads 4 times. Those 7 points have us a point ahead of Toronto and in the 2nd wildcard slot right now.

There was nothing he could do about McDavid, Matthews and Laine. They lost a lottery and the other two were in a different draft than Reinhart and Eichel.

You can't put any of that on Murray.
