This is what it is with the Sabres and the Bills, we all have gone through this and seen this for years, some more then others. We need to stop overthinking this and just go with it, not a damn thing we can do about it. Sabres and Bills just aren't good enough no matter what they try and do.

I know there was discussion about breaking the 5 year rule on him but ultimately decided against that.

Personally, i believe it was the right call for this case specifically.

I think we'll have a better idea after spring training is done. It's probably up for grabs but I like the wild card coming out of the AL east this year. We're not having a good spring at 1-5 but it's early.

I don't have a problem with Dunleavy in general, but he's not RJ.

The Golden Knights will be required to select one player off of each NHL roster in the expansion draft, which runs from June 18-20. General managers have the option of protecting seven forwards, three defensemen and one goalie, or eight skaters regardless of position and one goalie. GMs were hesitant to add a player they could lose in June.

ROR, Kane, Eichel, Bailey, Rodriguez, Reinhart, Okposo, Risto, Lehner (8 plus a goalie)

Who would you protect?
