This is like that game you're playing on XBONE and you're destroying the computer, yet you only have a one goal lead and the only goals the computer scored you're convinced it cheated on. |

Yup, I am as old as F U CK .... in fact I think I'm the elder statesman here at 59...and 1/4 if we want to be more specific.
For now, I also live in Roch...but workin my ass off on the house to put it up for sale along with my cottage on Conesus Lake.... moving to Sarasota FL in the summer. - IonSabres
Wish I had the means to take that off your hands. Loved that area when I owned a fishing boat a dozen years ago. |

It really is a cool story. He was actually drafted by the Oilers in '86 went to training camp, got sent down to the WHL, played a few games, went home, put up 216 points in 35 games, won the championship, went back to the WHL, then back to Edmonton for the next season's camp, played in a few preseason games with Gretzky, then was assigned to the AHL, played a few games, and then went back home again and never left. He played until he was 46. |

Murray deserves credit for bringing in EROD. He seems like a good one. |

Didn't want it to sound like a criticism. Between chat and refreshing here, I haven't been watching all that intently to see jerseys and notice him on the ice |

He showed really well during rookie camp, could you imagine if he could reach Derek Roy ? That would be awesome |

Yeah, he also had a season with 212 in 35, 222 in 44, and 207 in 42. Not including the 200+ point seasons he had 5 seasons of between 156 and 192 points. He scored 120 and 133 in 54 games as a 43 and 44 year old. |

A good undrafted player we got there. |

He hasn't been bad. He and McCabe make a solid 2nd pairing - sbroads24
You're right about a lot of things, but second pairing! Risto is an elite defenseman without a good partner. McCabe is okay, but loses his man in traffic too often. One day broads...one day.
Edit: Just read the ensuing response...I'll back off again if I may. |

As bad as Gerbe. Don't use the word "WE" and blow in the same sentence here. Keep that to yourself please. |

Great question. For every Cantenacci we've had, we haven't had enough Erod's. He looks like the real deal. |

I get your point, but Manson is very valuable. He might cost a lot more.
Fasching has probably almost no value right now - sbroads24
Idk about How much Manson would cost?
They have Theodore & Montour,
So I'd think they'll definitely trade a defenseman instead of just losing one
And assuming the liked him before the season,
Fasching has played well when healthy. He's been really good lately.
So if a team liked him before,
I don't think the injury this year will change their opinion too much
Maybe those names & team doesn't work...
but like u said, you get my point
If Kane can't get us a true top pair guy...
then absolutely keep him
And try to acquire a top4 guy with other assets
