Can't say that either. I'll be indifferent once our playoff chances reach absolute zero. I know the way I felt the other day losing to Nashville. I want this team to be a fighter and a competitor. It's time for growth.

Which is why a tank might be smart. Outside of the top 8 or so players, a fairly significant drop off takes place.

I would love to sign him. 4 years 6-6.5 can't give him more than 4 just in case something off-ice... even though he has been fine here (besides the whore trying to get fame/money) and i think he knows that he isn-t going to get 5+ years anywhere in FA

And the expansion draft has to have scared teams off from making deals more than a rental. The exposure of players has to keep teams trying to evaluate their own assets. Once the expansion draft happens, I feel like there will be a whirlwind of activity... or not.

I don't know how your 1st statement is directly related to your 2nd statement. Last summer we all but figured that the Lightning would have to lose a quality piece. Here we are and they'll have to lose no one.

Of course those 2 and a top 2 dman take precedence. Is it possible to keep Kane as well? Sure. There are no foregone conclusions.

No way i do 8x7.... if he had played this way consistently for the last 2 years he was here i would. But im just so nervous he will regress... which i don't want. But right now he looks like a legit 35g a year guy if he keeps playing the way he is..... and they don't grow on trees. Especially ones that hit and get to the corners, back check etc. You can argue either way for Kane and that is what makes it so hard!
