In all honesty I have only read about Mittlestadt and some red flags raised for me.if it came down to him or Vilardi it would be a coin.flip type of decision.

I can understand people worrying about Mittlestadt because of his decision to say in high school but the IMO the kid has the most potential for greatness. He's a very competitive player and doesn't shy away from contact from what I've seen/read. Using lack of pims to judge his toughness doesn't tell the whole story when he's as dominant as he is at that level.

I read an article the other day saying that he has to put up with a lot of abuse in that league because all teams can do is try to hack at him.

As much as this team needs toughness in its top 6 it needs skill much much more.
