Virtanen is going to be fine , just not as quickly as some would like on here, when we are in the playoff race again in a couple years he will be a major force for us , mark my words

I think I just get frustrated with the mentality of many of the Canucks fans...Dorsett sucks, Gudbranson is horrible (he played 30 games in a different system like Others who get a pass playing more games ffs), Virtanen is a bust at 19 now 20 etc.
They figure we have Tryamkin our skilled toughness is all good. We are a team of effen midgets and just got 2 more in trades. (I was pretty happy with trades by the way). I want a nice blend of skilled toughness in the system.
This non-contact hockey that we play belongs in the old timers leagues not at the nhl.

Sorry for the rant all... after being a fan since 1970 I have had enough of this poop, if we are gonna lose like we have been let's it with.some physicality mixed into this mishmash of poop.

You don't trade down in a draft with this much volatility. Doesn't make sense. If Benning wanted Necas he should draft him. He could go anywhere form 5th to 10th. You don't trade down to 8th and miss out on your guy. Benning won't want Necas but regardless of the prospect you don't trade down

Next i said we get a top 4 pick.
Did i say i trade down blindly? No
Use your imagination is all.
JB fields offers then when our pick he chooses his man.

If say Necas then he calls in any offer he had set up or makes one when his phone buzzes off the hook when he put the word out he might trade for the right deal.
