JBs got to continue to work magic in those late rounds. Picking top three in each of those rounds would be a nice position to be in. - bloatedmosquito
Things will go much quicker if so. When you look at tryamkin, gaudette(probably), mckenzie having a nice season and brisbois(has a shot at being something)..
Now we have potential to get 4 picks in the first two rounds(3 almost for sure,CBJ). Hopefully sign at least once college kid.
I also think one dman will go this off season.
Cupboards could fill up pretty quick. |

do you know he's 24th in NHL history for scoring by a defenseman, just behind Scott Niedermayer. |

I will be pretty annoyed if the TML make the playoffs thanks to their 14 loser points. Without that loser point they would be only 4 points ahead of Van in the standings. - manvanfan
Agreed, as much as this is music to Bettman's ears, I hope that FLA and TB leapfrog BOS & OTT for the divisional spots, and the NY teams hold onto the wildcards |

I just noticed Burrows scored twice in his first game as a Sen. - golfingsince
Benning's an idiot. Trades a 1st line scorer for a "?". Can't wait until he's gone.
Oh, I feel a Tuesday rant coming on... |

After the trade deadline, WD must have twitched so violently he put himself into seizure.

Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet: Vancouver Canucks president of hockey operations Trevor Linden met with the Sedin’s this week and laid out the Canucks plans. The Sedin’s have a year left on their contracts and are eligible for an extension after July 1st.
“They have told us they will decide year-to-year. Everyone knows we want them here as long as they want to play.”
When asked if they considered trading defensemen Alex Edler and/or Chris Tanev.
“We considered all our options, looked at everything we could, put everything on the table. At the end of the day, with the youth we have on our defence, we decided we must have people who can steady the ship. We placed a high priority on that. Don’t put players into situations they are not ready for.” |

It's crazy how so many teams have struggled to beat them in regulation. I think only 6 teams in the NHL have lost fewer in regulation. |
