i wanted to point out how dumb you are (i say that b/c i know you take it exactly how i meant it ) and it gets called misogyny.
i'm pretty sure that means neem just called you a woman.
that's downright offensive for someone who self identifies as a male.
neem owes you an apology!!!!! - RealityChecker

Pk Subban sucks goat balls. Like Gretzky's? Orr? Either way, i don't think his sexual preferences will interfere with his performance. |

Interesting tidbit. If Larsen played every remaining game the 5th round pick to Edmonton would become a 4th. He is sitting tonight so no worries - CanuckDon
This is excellent news! I can still hear Benning talking about this schlub manning the PP and being a real QB back there....he talks too much!! |

Hearing rumours that Edmonton has a choice of the 4th rounders we have so they could opt for the San Jose 4th, which turns into a 1st when San Jose wins the cup.
Pretty good return for Edmonton for Larsen. |

TSN posting a video rundown of expansion draft exposure for the Canadian teams.
For Vancouver (the shortest list btw) they said Sbisa is a serviceable defenseman, Bachman is not a goalie Vegas would even want, and the two forwards up front (Dorsett and Gaunce) "just simply arent difference makers" adding that Van would like to lose DD's contract |

Lefty, tell me more about being a bully. The other night, you are cracking off about my education and calling me names all on your own... I knew sharing why I had to leave school on this board might draw out a classless act or two but I was surprised you are the only one so far. If I hit a wall in our arguments, I wouldn't reach down that low. I couldn't finish school because of the abuse at home... and at times we didn't even have a home. How many people here lived in a car at times when they we 11 or 12? I guess that will be the next thing you target when you can't win an argument... shame me for the poop out of my control when I was a kid.
I know you don't share much on here... but imagine if cracks were made about the complications your daughter may have in life from her injury for example... I was nothing but supportive like everyone else on here... I wouldn't pick that scab.
You and bloated need to get this poop out of your system. People are bored of it if you hadn't noticed. You've been as stubborn and arrogant on your opinions as anyone on here. Somehow, only the people sticking to their own opinions are arrogant. Glass houses.

i don't know how that would be possible.
i would imagine that the trade language would be specific meaning that the oilers traded for "vancouver's 4th round pick." that asset immediately moves to the oilers side of the ledger.
i doubt that the language would have said, "the highest 4th round pick vancouver has available to them," (or something of the sort).
edit: if it turns out that the team gets sj's 1st round pick, it's a 1st round pick not a 4th round pick anyway. |

Some followup on what I wrote about the expansion draft in today's blog:
1) Yes, I included the Sedins and Eriksson as being among the seven Canucks players that had played enough to meet the 'games played' threshold of 70 games over the last two years, or 40 games this season. All three ARE required to be protected due to their no-move clauses, unless they specifically give the team permission to waive that clause for purposes of the expansion draft.
2) According to the Cap Friendly Expansion Draft FAQ, forwards must be *under contract* for 2017-18 in order to qualify for exposure.
https://capfriendly.com/expansion-draft-faq
Based on this, only goalies can be RFAs and still count for the exposure criteria. I think the forwards would have to be under contract by the expansion draft date.
Has anyone seen anything definitive that says forwards that are RFAs can qualify for exposure as long as they've been offered a qualifying offer?
3) Also according to the Cap Friendly Expansion Draft FAQ, an injured player who missed the last 60 or more games of the season and has a potentially career-threatening injury does "not meet the criteria set forth by the league in respect to the minimum exposure requirements for players" and could be exempt from the expansion process entirely.
Dorsett's last game this year was on Nov. 17, the Canucks' 18th game of the season, so he'll miss the last 64 games.
I know he's projected to make a full recovery but with something as serious as neck surgery, I wonder if the league will deem him to be ineligible to count as an exposed player? |

Good thing we don't have to give a 4th up I doubt they'd ever get away with that though |

I asked Bloated to get it out of his system and if we are lucky, that's all this is and it will be over tomorrow... but two threads in a row now is kind of pushing it.
