I did my best to reserve judgement on the trade overall. I wanted to give Kulikov a chance to come in and be a contributor. I get that the injury was a freak accident, but that doesn't help the cause in terms of him probably walking for nothing at the end of the season.

At least with the rest of the trades the guys that were traded for are still here at this point. This one hurts a bit more because it's the opposite of that (IMO of course).

Sekera was what he was. He was a decent 3/4 guy. My irritation with him was always that he'd get a great pass at the blueline and instead of immediately shooting it toward the net, he'd hold onto it too long, shoot it right at the guy in front of him causing an outnumbered situation going the other way.

How do you trade a young dman(likely a #5 dman) and 2 2nds for a 5th round pick 1 year into his development and an AHL grinder. How.

I had no issue with D-Lo the first full year he was here. Not sure what happened after that, but last year and this year have been very big disappointments.

Still hoping Fasching works out. He's had a rough year from an injury standpoint, so this year has kind of been wasted.

I'm hoping Fasching works out too. I hated the trade but I don't want to see a player fail. If anything, he could replace Deslauriers
