I get that Gionta is playing well - if slightly under a half ppg - but it's more important to give Bailey more playing time, or try to get Ennis's trade value up. Moulson needs to get hurt

Safe to say those days are done. But overall, yeah, there's something wrong. I think this is a better team than the '10-11 playoff team

Lack of a number 1 LW is a problem for sure. I think Gionta and Moulson are both problems on the third line. Gionta on a fourth line is fine, Moulson 5-on-5 is a garbage fire. Giving Moulson 11 minutes a night, 9 of which come 5-on-5 is a near certainty that for 9 minutes a night, you will not score

Fair, but remember that goal Moulson scored by pushing Gionta's shot on the way into the net? He definitely has good hands around the net, but that's replaceable. He's not a PP quarterback, he's a good positional garbage goal guy.

I get what you're saying, and like I said, not trying to pick a fight. Over the last few days people have kept saying Kane is playing well because he plays with Eichel (which isn't really the whole story) and then you come out and say that Moulson is just the beneficiary of a good PP.

The "agenda" just starts to get old after a bit. And that's not to say I don't do the same things sometimes, and if I do, you're more than welcome to point it out to me as well. It's part of being human. We all have biases.
