Ya frank the coverage! It's better than the stress of hearing about the state of the team or any other b.s.,its a smaller market team it happens, Matthews and others have talked about how elite jack is ,and when those two play for team u.s.a.,maybe others (team canada ) will find out too!

There's pros and cons both ways. I would wonder if his confidence takes a hit when he sees Matthews, Laine and McDavid on TV all the time and he's producing at a faster pace than 2/3 of them. Has to be frustrating at least.

USA v Canada is going to be tons of fun. I think that game will be more entertaining than the All Star game by a long shot.

That could be it too. I just see him as really kind of settling into his game. He was definitely forcing more plays last year. Gripping the stick too tight kind of thing.

Either way, I hope he gets the attention he deserves. He's good for the sport in general IMO.

I don't think anyone had clairvoyance enough to see all this happening. Nothing foolish about that prediction IMO. TB has underperformed big time and injuries have played a big part in the standings.
