Apparently his system is too difficult or confusing... even Crosby said so - 22sabresQ
Then, why are we wasting our time with this coach?!
Next year, it will be the same story.
Players are going to do what they want, till this coach has shown the door!

Can't fire coaches every 2 years or less and expect any decent coaches to want to accept the job next time around.
I hate to say it but the injuries kind of gave Bylsma a pass this year. He will get 20-30 games next year and if we are on the outside looking in...then he will get canned. He has coached us to a playoff pace since Jack has been back. If we were making the playoffs would anyone say anything about him? Yes...but only because it's Buffalo.

I understand your argument, however, if his system is not going well with the players, and they are not going to bite on it, then what?!
Trust me, in this situation, the players WIN all the time!

I agree . The players have to score and the coach doesn't dictate everything they do on the ice.
Why the (frank) is Deslauriers in the line up against a team we're competing with for the playoffs. With Okposo now out weeks they better call up Baptiste for the next game. If we're not gonna tank we better ice the best damn line up. This is a joke. And a waste of a roster space. We all know he's only going to play 4 and a half to 5 minutes. Baptiste would've played at least 8 and been oh you know a scoring threat who doesn't take stupid penalties...

If the system isn't working then you have no choice but timing. We fired Ruff in 2013 I believe...that means we have had 4 coaches in about 4 years. Continue to have that type of ratio and legitimate coaches who may have been interested will shy away.
Bylsma has the excuse of injuries and can show a winning record with a healthy team. IMO firing him over the summer and not waiting for at least some more hard evidence of his system failing...would be a mistake.

I read Hamster's article containing Bylsma's comment that they only have 4 recalls until the end of the year and they already used 2 of them. See link below. You guys are either slipping or clearly not as a finger on the pulse fan as I am. Numero uno fan 4 lyfe.

I read the article and if Okposo is going to be out as long as they're saying it's worth one of the final two recalls. Heck any bum off waivers would be better than 44

GMs who look best – and worst – after the NHL trade deadline
Worst
3. Tim Murray, Buffalo. The Sabres aren’t completely out of the playoff picture just yet, but this season has not gone ideally for the organization, and they’d dropped four straight games heading into the deadline. In addition, Murray has five unrestricted free agents on his roster – including blueliners Cody Franson and Dmitry Kulikov, as well as captain Brian Gionta – who could’ve helped a true contender and brought something to help Buffalo’s build in return. Standing pat as Murray did doesn’t seem to be beneficial either in the immediate or long-term. http://www.hockeybuzz.com...ter-the-NHL8230/225/83496
