Lockwood had a monster game. Commentators said he is their future star and he completely took over the 3rd period

Mete gets all the offensive assignments while his D-play is pretty suspect but ya, i hear you.

I'm not to stoked with the fact that O.J, while playing good minutes, appears to be deployed as a top 4 guy as opposed to that #1-2 D- man that Benning sold the franchise on...Plus, this is in the OHL we are talking

I'll say it again, i think O.J is going to develop into an Oliver Ekman-Larsson like player (at best), which on one hand is great yet on the other, a tad disappointing for a 5th overall selection.

I'm not sure what's going on in here these days, it's getting hard to read the comments lately.

Fire WD, because he plays Megna and Chaput, doesn't trust youngsters. But bring in another coach (Green) that has no experience at the NHL level... , oh but then fire TL because he has no experience, holy contradiction...

OJ is a bust, so Bennings a idiot for picking him, although he hasn't played a at this level, but is a bust because he only played liked 200 games this season and gave the puck away and his points are down from last season.

And now there's this new guy that was acquired in a trade, has 12 whole games to his career, but should be with the Sedins because he's the shiny new canuck superstar.

And I'm accused of being negative a couple of months ago when I was adamantly saying this teams lacks talent and criticized the whole hire Claude Julien swallow fest.

This is what everyone has been whining for, embrace the change people and quit the complaining about every little thing.

I am advocating for a bloated rant at least every other day

Mete is the PP architect and runs the show, his offensive skills are fantastic and his foot speed and skating are second to none. He reminds me of a faster version of Patrick Kane with the way he sees the ice, passes and navigates around players into open areas.

While OJ is better defensively he still plays a ton of offensive minutes and its suspect his numbers haven't improved given the team he's on. I was wrong about one thing, he did gain 8lbs so far since he was drafted, which is good news.

I have to disagree about one thing, he doesn't remind me of Tanev in any way. And thankfully has a much better shot than Tanev could ever dream of having. OJ reminds me more of Giordano than anyone else, and if that turns out to be true, Id be happy with that.

- Brooks_Light

His numbers have slightly improved, sharing more minutes. He also has more points then Mete does on the power play.

London is going to score probably 30 less goals then last season. They won everything, the team is less dominate this year.

It has not been a lot of fun as a fan for the last two years and I doubt that it improves in short order. Its a tough spot to be in for the fans / players / staff / coaches and management. Oh dont forget the owners, who likely did not get rich writing cheques for underperforming businesses. Which is what this really is - a business. "Fans" feel entitled due to the city the team is based, but lets be honest - teams are mobile and fungible.

I'm not a WD fan but I dont think Green is the answer either.

OJ is getting the gears because everyone seems to have Virtanen syndrome.

Goldy is the new superstar.(how dare you say otherwise)

You were negative but not wrong.

It's just part of the process, the down years, managing those down years to minimize them is the hard part, the part I get all worked up about.
