You may have missed the sarcasm. He's just regurgitating a bunch of things that have been said here in the past into one massively stupid post.
- golfingsince

That's what happens when you don't underline, bold, capitalize and explain your sarcasm. RC really screwed that one up.

It's hard to underline when someone's eating all the crayons

There's no such thing as a stealth tank. GM's trading away players to build assets and ensure a high draft pick is tanking. It's just ridiculous to say tanking doesn't work when two teams that tanked have won the last two cups (and many more besides recently).

As for him picking outside of the top 5 just as well as in it, again this just lacks any rational logic. If JB can pick good prospects with lower first round picks, surely he can pick elite prospects (has a better chance to) if fewer teams have taken players. Are no other teams good at scouting? That's just seems incredibly hard to justify, I dare say impossible.

My favorite part is you determining who "real Canucks fans" are, as if you're the arbiter of this somehow and especially since so much of what you said was so flawed in terms of the logic.

I've never been able to bring myself to cheer for the opponent (I've said it , but when I'm watching these games there no way). The last two wins for example, I wanted the Canucks to lose but really enjoyed how good the young players are as Granlund, Bo and Bae have lead the team. To say that I'm somehow not a fan seems ridiculous to me, seems to me who's not a fan is the fairweather folk who find other teams or stop watching hockey while the Canucks are in decline. I'll continue to support the team, continue to support this team tanking (as JB has done a better job of this year) and cheer for the young guys winning games. None of this will ever make me more or less than a fan than anyone else.

U confuse horribly run teams & tanking. The Pens & Hawks were sad sacks. Miserable failures that got lucky. No credit is given except remaining as contenders.

It is fine to want to get a top pick .

Hischier Viardi and Patrick are the top three projected Centers and top three picks .What are some of the things that you like more about their game that makes you want to throw away the season.

I find Hischier and Suziki somewhat similar but Suzuki is projected at 25 what are the differences in their game that you see the need to tank?

Middlestadt is projected at 11 and Glass at 16 I think both are excellent picks and have some of the same qualities as the top 3 . Don't you agree?

Canucks are projectd to pick Tovalen at 7-8 but what would you say about Popoguyev Ratcliffe or Heiskanen or Vilimaki?

I am just trying to find out why you think their is such a difference between these rankings when most on here can't find a huge difference.

- VANTEL

Oh now it's fine?

I'm not asking for the first overall pick, I've said it many times, I just want a good high top nine pick. The chances of getting a quality player there is really good. You get to pick before 2/3rds of the other teams, do your homework and make it count.

But don't get me wrong, I'd love a first overall or top three.

I think Sergachev was drafted 16 th last year and I know some on here wanted him over OJ and some still do.

Barzal the year before was drafted 16 and we know everyone here loves that kid.

Boeser 23 rd .

It's fine if a person has a reason . I think you are just saying you want a high pick because you are playing the odds without really knowing the facts about the players available.

My bad but some on here wanted Chych over OJ too and I believe Lefty favored Chych last year as the top Dman if I remember correctly

Chych also has played more games/scored more points than OJ/Serg at this point as well in the NHL...
