From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
And yes, i know my vision is very much appreciated in this dark, dark age.

The tank door remains open for you and Don.

- Whiskey-Tango

Don's a hypocrite, he said last week the best thing for the team is to lose for the remainder of the year.

He and Vantel get to win either way, they don't want to lose on purpose, yet they praise Benning when he did last year after the TDL, yet they still love when we pick kids like Juolevi and build through the draft?

For a couple of guys who don't want to lose and build through the draft they sure get excited when we lose and get a high pick to build through the draft LOL.

Get outta here with your statistics.
We are not good, we are low in the standings, we deserve the 1st overall.
Now scram!

1) bs lie
2) bs lie
3) of course I get excited at the prospect of a high draft pick. Haven't I been trashing our vets and speaking about prospects for years?

Nucker was smart enough to come back two year later when there was things to cheer about

Just saying Flyers could always use some more love and support

(Joking)

- VANTEL

Sadly the 80's and 90's are over, the Flyers can't trade and sign UFA's to stay perennial contenders, they've gotta build through the draft like everyone else in this cap world.

It's statistically very unlikely that we draft top 3 at all the next three years. Prepare to be upset

Goldobin Stecher Dahlen Sven Granlund is not building through the draft.

I see guys like Foote Hague Popoguyev and Ratcliffe all projected around 15 th that I would rather have than most of the top 10 .

You can sell your poop that there is only one way to build a team to someone else.

I'm not nearly high enough on Patrick or Hischier to hope we waste our luck winning this year's lotto... Why couldn't we have started selling off vets LAST YEAR

or people will lose their sh1t when we pick 5th and conspiracy theories abound.

'If only we didn't win that game against Anaheim!
God dam kids!
Always putting the puck in the net, what with their skating and stick handling...bah!'

- dbot

5th is a good draft position, I'd be more than happy with that, although there's always room for more happiness in a person's life.

It's not the team or players job to tank, it's the managers.

These guys still haven't figured out that Mr.A has a veto on everything JB wants to do. They waited too long to trade Burr, Bieksa, Hammer. What is Edler still doing here? He must have a no move contract. Detroit was said to have wanted him 3 years ago.

Meh...losing breeds contempt, it'll get better when we draft top three for three more years.
- LeftCoaster

To even have that chance Nucks would have to finish dead last for top 3/4. If the team remains that bad for that much longer then forget about it getting better in three years. It would take another decade of multiple rebuild efforts. Look at so many teams stuck in that rut. Like the Isles.

I've never ever said there's only one way to build a team, quite the opposite, I've simply maintained the highend guys come from the top of the draft, that's where we need to find one.

If Francesco does in fact interfere as much as some say, then Benning is a gutless puke for staying.....I'm not sure that's the case anymore though.

You might be good with that, but people will complain.

Don't be so negative, they're statistically one of the worst teams in the league right now, anywhere bottom three gives them a good chance to be first overall. Next season will probably be worse than this year.

You guys need to wait until after next year to see how we are and where we stand.

Even WD is starting to see the light with Bo and Co.

Right now we have a 6.7% chance at 1st overall and a 20.9% chance at top 3.

I ain't a betting man, but that is not a good chance.

In fact, we have a good chance of not getting either.

We have a 93% chance of not getting 1st overall.
We have a 79% chance of not getting a top 3.
