I'm feeling like 66 and 99 are the two greatest players in hockey of all time. Well you can't take their numbers at least. Even though 9 is taken a lot and so is 4. - manvanfan
haha don't get me started. Next we can't see players take 8 or 87, or soon to be 97.. My god what a joke. If it isn't retired across the league, then (frank) anyone should be able to wear. who gives a poop lol |

The Canucks should be back in the playoff mix by the end of this home stand. |

One day when it's not run by a bunch of idiots, or they luck it out, they'll achieve the ultimate goal.

If teams wants to do it, fine. League wide go (frank) yourself. What if Ho- Sang wins 5 scoring titles and 8 stanley cups? It's never going to happen but still (frank) people. |

The Gretzky league wide thing was and still is a pretty cool gesture. I still have mixed feelings over team jersey retirements, but in my opinion if you didnt think enough of a player to immediately stop others from wearing the number after a player has left/retired, probably dont need to retire it |

people just want to find something to complain about. There will never be a league wide retirement on a jersey, and it shouldn't be an issue if someone wants to wear the number of a past great player. who gives a (frank). its garbage that Ho-Sangs first couple games have been overshadowed by this garbage. He seems to be a little bit of a dink anyhow, but he doesn't really deserve this criticism over this crap. |

I'm on the fence...when we have a new guy out for beer league we make him wear 99...guys go after him every time. The same should happen in the NHL |
