Speaking of showers, I think your avatar needs one to.

Slippery Sopel.

Just read Sopel's Player tribune. Quite an eye opening read. Well worth it if you have time.

i think he did. my opinion is that aq made a business decision not a hockey decision.

(and i'm also of the opinion that in the mid to long run, it was a bad business decision as well.... but then again i'm not a billionaire like his family is.)

- RealityChecker

Yeah, who knows. We can only speculate on how much he influences hockey operations.

Might get the Sedins/Edler to be more open to getting traded at the TDL next year

Sven Baertschi and Markus Granlund probably won't love it

- Nucker101

Cap wise only Edler is realistic possibility IMO

Yes, I know this is well thought out but I hate Bob Hartley so no.

Kruger may be ok if he would be interested

It was a great read

I have a friend who has dyslexia, reading that helped me understand what she goes through.

He gets paid a poop load of money over there, unless he truly loves hockey, I don't see him leaving that job. I assume his job security over there is a bit stronger than one of a NHL head coach as well.

I'm fascinated by him though, his résumé is about as unique as you'll see in pro sports.

And if anyone brings up Weisbrod, I'll get triggered.

Have Trevor come down from the ivory tower and player-coach. He's been putting a lot of time in over at Club 16 getting ready for next season

Speaking of Sopel, he has a very moving piece on Players' Tribune today, about his battle with dyslexia and how he's trying to make a difference now that his hockey career is over.

Great read. Thanks for that Carol. I worked ithe a lady who went through the same ordeal with not being diagnosed until she was well into adulthood. She suffered through the same affects, alcoholism, loneliness and several other symptoms, but rebounded very nicely once diagnosed.
The more information that gets out as a result of articles like this the more tolerant and understanding society will become.

Why? You know, some how some way, the league is going give us a sandpaper dildo throughout the process of deciding the draft order

Well he wouldnt have full control. Im thinking of Trevor, Manny, Cloutier and Jarvis have a collaborative player coach effort. One will always be on the bench at all times, they wont be allowed to load up a line with all of them

Nah TL would bench them & in the press box to piss them off.
They get the hint & ask to be traded.
And we all lived happily ever after.....

So WD says Goldy needs to earn his ice time. Does that mean playing him with former Junior line mate Boucher on the fourth line

Must mean Megna and Guance will get to show more of their offensive prowess.
