I'll always give him credit for getting everyone to work hard for him, the player's clearly like his personality. But he's really not a good strategist.


If the plan is to actually rebuild properly, I'd even consider Bob Hartley. Before I get ripped, here's why:

1) He's not afraid to give young player prominent roles

2) His teams always play with a backbone, something many here are worried that the youth isn't learning to do.

3) His system sucks for possession hockey, but it's more about stretch passes and odd man rushes so it'll be entertaining at least and fits, and the team will still suck enough to get a top pick. Different from cycling the puck that some people are bored of.

4) Fire him when the team is on the upswing again(talent-wise) and bring in a coach with a better system

I know a lot of people will want Gallant, but I'm just throwing another name out there.

Well he wouldnt have full control. Im thinking of Trevor, Manny, Cloutier and Jarvis have a collaborative player coach effort. One will always be on the bench at all times, they wont be allowed to load up a line with all of them

Means to same thing for everyone. Play the 'right' way by his standard/system. It's worked for a lot of the young guys so far... except JV

I get my tickets (that aren't through work) from ticket brokers. For tonights game? Cheapest seat is $100 at them moment. You can try Stub Hub but the fees are high.

Lundqvist has regressed sharply the past couple seasons, but still could be a good mentor and transition for Demko and NYR will want to escape that cap hit for the next 4 seasons

I must say I that I'm a tad disappointed with McLaren, however. Honda is totally letting them and Alonso down. I just wonder how long until BMW comes back to F1 given that McLaren and BMW have a deal for BMW to provide engines for future McLaren road cars
