I hated all that too. He did get the team a top pick . He would have had Edler Hansen the twins all begging for a trade two years ago when they had value
- VANTEL

But they all would have played like sh1t and the return would be rubbish.
We got a 1st and 2nd + for Hansen and burr.

Honest question.
You would prefer Torts over WD?

- dbot

action wise yes, tactical play yes, passion wise yes, tuning out players NO.

If only you could just FIX him he'd a better coach. Maybe he's learned his lessons and why he's doing so well?

Silly, silly question..

But if this is an open question to all, Willie, I'd take Torts dogs over Torts.

hard to say. Teams who face each other in playoffs often exchange players, UFAs, coaches in the next few years

I mean, he would prefer going back to Mtl which he enjoyed...not to mention they are a playoff team and we suck.

well you cant have a coach that loses the players that quick.
IF he is changed, then maybe
Would never happen with linden at the helm. Sure he still has visions of Keenan swinging that stick at his head in the locker room (straight from my past player insider back in those days)

You are right we don't know. But the kind of money and commitment thrown at Julien was nothing the Nucks were prepared or in a mind set to do. Especially what we hear about Aqualini's complaints on paying for coaches. Torts hire and fire contract sits raw still with him.

Also would have been the 4th coach in less than 5 years? Who wants to join an organization with that little stability and direction that they cant hire a coach to get them a few seasons

Exactly..it will be tough for us to get a well regarded veteran coach. I am not sure if Green is any better than Willie. Benning needs to get creative with an assistant coach or somebody in Europe

Ahh, I see, a veiled insult that I would chose Willie over an icon hockey coach.

I have stated several, several times that I don't agree with a lot of his strategies, and I have also stated that I think he will be gone before next season. But because I won't join in the incessant b!tching, whining and moaning by several here, you've come to the conclusion I must hold him in the highest regard possible.

With the way you constantly criticize him, I actually believe you must be his wife.

I only browse the deep web on a secondary machine with Tor.....even then its a rarity.....the deep web is scary.........

The samsung smart tv, iphone and android, whatsapp, ect exploits are what got my attention....the CIA HAD those exploits, now pretty much all hackers have them....to me....that's a situation that will affect a lot of people.

Then that POS should stop making his own hockey decisions. Torts was his hire, not Gillis. JV was his pick, not bennings. I still think JV can turn it around and be a solid top 9 for us. But the only knowledge about hockey he has that we don't is insider info due to owning the team. The guys seems to have little knowledge of the game itself.
