Yea, I don't get it either.

Neutral fan here. I'd stick with management. Consistency is important. Coaching is a harder question -- you have to have a sense of if the room believes in the coach. But from a distance it's easy to see the goaltending isn't good enough. You guys have 2 goalies who are marginal starters in this league. I'd estimate it's cost you guys 8-10 points at minimum this year...

3. goalies. save percentages are artificially elevated because we give up 40 shots per game, conceding low scoring chances. this is because our d is a tire fire. nilsson is decent at high percentage shots, lehner is bad. if we get a couple good d before next year, and a coach with that puts a system in place to let them succeed, maybe that number drops to 25 shots, but there will still be high percentage shots. im fine with what weve got because the price is right. we need to focus on d, its gonna cost, and i wanna see where we end up with there before going looking for a goalie.

am of the opinion that if you can't land that franchise quarterback, keep upgrading every other position with the best available talent...if he's an upgrade, go for it

In my observations of him. Having met him, watching his interactions with fans and things I've heard from around the organization, he doesn't generally seem happy. I don't know that could just be he disposition and demeanor, which is fine. He's a young guy learning how to deal with all the attention.

However to me it's more Foam Finger Terry shortsightedness and lack of planning. He's got to stop trusting total clowns to run his teams. The fan experience sucks, the player experience sucks. Who's having fun here? Conehead the beer guy?

I keep waiting every game for this and it never happens. We never get any good in-zone setups 5v5 and never got a threatening shot from the point either.

All on price. Apparently he can do more than just block. If he's going to be used in the actual offense, have fun. If he's Jerome Felton 3 years ago, (frank) off Whaley. But it sounds like he's much more useful.
