Players are paid millions of dollars to play the game, yes.
You subsidize that salary, as does ownership.
Does that mean these individuals are owned, or owe you anything, No.
I could give two (frank)s if a player goes out and knocks back a 24 before a game, as long as they come to play and give it everything they got.
You are not entitled (through your wallet), to tell anyone how to go about living their lives. This stuff has literally been in the game since its inception.

That's probably why you don't have a hockey team in France anymore

Most of them found out yesterday that they are losing their jobs at the end of this season. They are doing everything they can to throw the Canucks under the bus. Losers!! - Marwood

To change the subject...I obviously don't like Willie but I wouldn't object to him staying one more season if he agrees to change his ways. If management can convince him to give the youth more opportunities and not deploy the Dorsetts and Chaput's of the team in critical situations and more importantly the power play. |

VanhockeyGuy just Trumped you all with Fake News.
See you at the next rally - Nuck4U
Even if all 3 Emma's (Stone, Watson, and Roberts) promised to have a smorgasborgasm crotch carnival bananaramathon with me; there is a slim chance you would see me at a pro Trump rally |

Love the fake news by Lee Chin... and in other news, the Canucks announced on Twitter that Goldy is out tonight with the flu so we won't have anything to female dog about ice-time wise. |

Still don't like him. But we will be a bad team next year so the only thing that matters is the young players improve. - CanuckDon
i would like to make a sarcastic comment disagreeing with you but i agree:
1) don't have to like him;
2) they will be a bad team next year; and
3) only thing that matters is the young players improve (and a new young core emerges more fully.) |

Thats really the only thing that matters at this point, not systems or winning. Let the kids figure out the kind of players they will become and when the time is right, get a coach to take them to the next level |

I don't know man, the NHL would be selling the hockey world short if they skip Q.C once again.
Say what you want about modern sports rivalries but, those Habs/Nordiques match-ups have yet to be re-created.

I could be wrong.....
I understand the Key Areana is square and although holds 15000.... many, due to the corners and poles are obstructed views.
That being said, I would go to every game in the hopes that I would be there long enough for a new stadium toi be built.
Also, didn't Russell Wilson join the investment team.
Seattle Thunderbirds..... green sweaters.... native american logo..... I am in.

3.5 million people versus 800,000 (being generous). I love the lore/idea of the nordiques, but buttman/owners are $$ first and there is way more to be made in Seattle. |

If everyone actually thinks this (i do too btw), then is there really any justification for hating on WD??
The kids are improving, the team is rebuilding.

Arizona will move to Seattle, Carolina will move to QC, Islanders will either move back to old home, or maybe Hartford. That is my guess. |

I'm a hockey fan, not a share holder.
No one in Seattle will care...Bet you Q.C has a much better attendance/viewership in spite of the population difference. Not to mention they already have a brand-new area...
But yes, knowing Bettman that will be the case. |

I like those moves.
It would be good timing if the coyotes kids were ready to play by the time the team relocated to SEattle, creating a buzz and getting some fans interested.
If they moved for next season (i know that won't happen, just saying), it would be hard to drum up much hype. |

Most of us seem to primarily have an issue with his line deployment. 4th liners out when down a goal in final minutes, getting offensive zone draws instead of point producers. Stuff like that. Plus he has a hard on for hard work over skill sometimes. Goldy/JV need to earn ice time, can't dispute that. But he needs to be better at deploying his lines. |

But does he?
If the 'most important thing' is development of youth, which appears to be happening, maybe what he's doing is working just fine.
Maybe, a lifetime hockey coach that was hired by a professional team that interviewed multiple candidates actually chose him for a reason? |
