The team's problem isn't their work-ethic. We've got a ton of guys who try really hard (Skille, Megna, Gaunce, Stetcher, etc...). The problem is that, for years now, our management has ensured that we don't have anyone who can score. And, all the effort in the world isn't enough to overcome that gaping problem... |

Yes....if they can draft two more 1000 point HHOF players for Chaput to play with, he should have the same career path as Burrows - LeftCoaster
Wasn't about Burr success with Sedins just that at 24 his junior numbers have no relevance now to where he's at and can go. |

2010 they were 2nd with 272 GF, 2011 they were 1st with 262 GF, 2012 they were 4th with 249 GF, and it was all downhill from there...

Marwood suggestion of a Gaunce goal song made me think about the real question worth asking.......AS A POSTER, WHAT IS YOUR GOAL SONG?
I'm curious to what Carol would have as a tune - WelfareWerewolf
I can't quite narrow it down, but I have a few ideas.
First off, I'll admit that I think "Chelsea Dagger" is the gold standard for goal songs. It's got that singalong factor and it's not especially well-known in other contexts. It's now always associated with the Blackhawks—and it doesn't hurt that they've been doing nothing but win since they adopted it.
In a similar vein, I like this track, "The Whip" by Locksley. CBJ uses it as their goal song now, and the Canucks used to use it as their "We Win" song at the end of games back in the Presidents' Trophy days.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUQAz7w6svU
If I was going to pick something along those lines that I don't think I've heard used in a hockey context, I think I'd go with this: "Ruby" by the Kaiser Chiefs:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qObzgUfCl28
If I was going to indulge my inner rocker...
I think Judas Priest's "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" would be blazing!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coA75uoMF40
Bonus points to "Cum on Feel the Noize" because I always thought lead singer Kevin DuBrow bears a resemblance to Tiger Williams...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxgMGk9JPVA
If I just wanted to blow the roof off the arena, I think I'd go with "Yeah!" by Usher.

That's THE song. I'll never forget the way it mind-(frank)ed the Canucks. Amazing & kinda hilarious now that we're far enough removed from those meltdowns.
