I usually hate when coaches describe someone as "just a good football player," but that really is what Hyde is. He is the kind of "glue player" that every team needs. I can't argue with the Packers' decision to prioritize a pass-rusher (linebacker Nick Perry) over a defensive back, but Hyde leaves a multifaceted role that will be difficult for one player to fill.

I could've sworn I've seen him play some CB. Ok he's not the starter we need as he'll likely be a full time SS here, but I still like it. He's cheap for a guy that always seems to be around the ball.

Edit: I do wish the Bills would have been able to sign Jeffery though.

Fun stat: Converted QB to WR Terrelle Pryor has the longest run in NFL history for a Quarterback at 93 yards. I was actually in a bar on Elmwood that night, can't remember which one, but it was a Sunday night game so it was the only one open haha.

And I had driven from Binghamton to Buffalo straight through and as I sat down, that was the very first play I saw. I think I was the only person who even gave a damn, too, haha. Phenomenal play. Dude took off like a rocket. Then had a terrible game as far as QB's are concerned.
