I wouldn't find it exciting if they broke their hands or not. Fights don't excite me, they bore me. Goals and scoring chances excite me. That's what I watch for.

I disagree.

The days of having Dan Kordic or Troy Loney skating 5 minutes a game to do nothing more than to fight another player to see who is better at being a punching bag are gone. They were wild times, but I'm okay with them being gone.

However, having guys like Wayne Simmonds and players with skill who can fight is okay with me. If you're not out there only to fight but it happens due to emotion, I'm with with it. Pre-meditated fights though, no thanks.

You don't need the traditional goon. You need passion and a genuine rivalry, not what the league calls Wednesday night. The Flyers/ Pens series previously referenced should be the standard of hockey. Its one of the great Playoff series of all time when it comes to entertainment.

The PC World/Snowflakes won't stop until every one is sitting around, holding hands, watching Frozen on repeat.

It most definitely is because of the players. The owners wouldn't change what was making money. They started losing money cuz players sued them for health issues after play. So the owners change dit so they wouldn't lose any more money. Regardless of if they were right or wrong to do so, the players are no doubt the ones who changed it. Unless you expect the owners to just lose money over and over then shut down teams.

Bullpoop, the majority of that series an embrassment to hockey. Entertaining as hell, but horrible hockey.

Goaltending and defense were optional that entire series. Players cared more about acting tough than actually trying to score. Players were taking cheap shots left and right trying to do permanenet damage to each other.

I've got no issue with teams going hard at each other and fighting when the blood boils over. But that series sacrificed good, skilled hockey at its expense. Like I said, entertaining as hell, but it was not good hockey.

The players didn't change it. Poll after poll has suggested the Players do not want to remove fighting from the game. The players sued the league for the not having the proper protocols in place to protect the players from themselves basically. Not because of fighting.

That's series was great. You are debating "good hockey" from "entertainment". The league exist to entertain.

Another question: How do Penguins fans feel about the Talbot/Carcillo fight in 2008 game 6? You know, the one where the Penguins players said changed the game and prevented a potential Game 7 the year they won the Cup? That fight may have been the reason you won the Cup.

No, I feel that, if you don't vote, you should not be able to voice your displeasure with the elected candidate.

My vote was directed to try to get the 5% required for the economical advancement of the Libertarian party. Sadly, it did not work out. But I refused to be a part of the poopshow that either Trump or Hillary would lead.

If my daughter wanted to do that with her life (with the money she would be paid), that's her choice. It's not what I would prefer for her to do with her life, but there are a lot of professions that are far more dangerous.

People applaud our soliders and cops, but they are at a far greater risk of death or long-term injury than the average sports players. Would you be proud of your son/grandson for protecting his community and/or country? I would, although I would be worried for him (if I had a son or grandson).
