I have a hard time agreeing or disagreeing with you. Just have a bad feeling that if Berube starts, he's going to get shelled and Greiss will end up coming in anyway. But you have to give him a night off here and there. - Isleshockeyman
They need to just (frank)ing call Halak back up before they blow their chances at making the playoffs. Sooooo (frank)ing stupid. |

Agreed, Capt. What the f uck good does it do to have a back-up goalie that can't play. Waive Berube, nobody will take him, and call up Halak. At least you'd have a reliable back-up for the playoff push. Our fantabulous GM won't do that though. It would make too much sense. |

Wouldn't they have to waive Halak to bring him up before they open the rosters? |

Not sure about that. Didn't think you needed to waive someone to bring them up. I could very well be wrong though. |

im so happy we won this game. Weight said in post game isles need to work on the 6 on 5 drill.
I don't blame Clutterbuck to leading to the game tying goal for Vancouver. Leddy and DeHaan each had the puck on stick that they could have just Easily floated the puck up high and out of zone. This team has to realize we don't have to go for the Empty net goal every time. let it come to you.
Also I do see comparison to Bailey and PAP on first line - both guys are good passers and actually set up JT. That to me is way more valuable than a mouch like Moulson who has hit stats juiced by JT.
Also - Lee, JT, and Bailey has been on of best lines in NHL. don't be so concerned.
If our PP could be better - we would be steam rolling teams. |

If they can leave Griess in while giving up 7 goals they can let Berube stay in as well - Vukota
Unfortunately, Berube has proven himself wholly incapable of being a reliable NHL backup. I don't want to run Greiss into the ground, but it's really, really hard to justify starting Berube at this point.
Obviously he'll have to play a game here or there to spell Greiss to give him a rest, but it's not a good feeling. After STL and the CAR b2b....we play: WPG, CBJ, NYR, PIT, BOS, NSH, PHI, NJD to finish out the month. After CAR (who seems to always give us fits anyway) we don't play a weak opponent until 3/31 against NJD. That suuuuuuuuuuucks. |

I would start Berube against the Blues. That would give Griess 3 days off and then have him go back to back against Carolina - Vukota
I agree Vukota. Even better I would have Halak play the game. Berube is not the future with Greiss and maybe Sorokin getting closer to being in the NHL. |

Well the, unless Snow somehow manages to pull his head out of his ass, it would appear that Greiss will start until the Devils' game. He is going to be so burnt come playoff time if Berube can't win a game here or there. I'm with you, I do not feel comfortable at all with Berube between the pipes. |

A guy currently on our minor league team with a slap shot well over 100 mph could help there.

No, they have Seids, Hickey & Pelech. What do you need Pulock for. Can't count how many times I've said Pulock on one PP shift, JB on the other. Let them blast away which would create rebounds (if it didn't go in or put a hole through the net). |

Nope, never knew he played. He's never mentioned it.
Whenever I'm wanting stats on something, I always assume he'll have the answer. |

Better than banging hobos in the butt under the Seaside Heights boardwalk, which is mostly what your teenage years consisted of |

I do not like Halak, but if the choice is Halak or Berube I'm going with Halak. |
