I am very happy with the 2 points but that game really was maddening at times. JT still has ZERO respect for NOT losing the puck at the blue line and causing an odd man rush. They scored the 3rd time he did it... That and the stupid Back passes in the defensive zone that result in turnovers drive me nuts. That is Cappy Hockey and it gives me a heart attack...
One last complaint before I go enjoy all the bouncing Mammaries on previous pages.
that first shift in OT was friggin horrific. WTF was Bailey, Leddy and JT doing? Greiss was standing on his head and NONE of them were skating at all? Can someone explain to JT what 3-3 hockey means? You have to skate!! - niteislander
I love JT, but he can be frustrating as frank. I do not care if he does not have all star wings. He needs to get the puck in deep and not turn it over when he does not have a play. Also agree on the lack of hustle from JT at times. |

great series - Tumbleweed
It was the worst officiated series I've ever seen. |

Maybe he called Garth a dope?
I do not like Halak, but if the choice is Halak or Berube I'm going with Halak. - ses111
I don't care if Halak took a shat in Garth's mouth! He is the better option and he should be with the team! |

Snow doesn't do what's in the best interest of the team. He does what's in the best interest of his ego. Plain & simple. |

Good win last night. I am concerned the Islanders "played down" to their opponents but maybe they just wanted a boring cross conference game... buut it truth, they should have won much earlier than they did and if it was not for Hutton getting caught being out there too long on the 3 on 3, the results could have been different! |

17. Can’t believe Josh Ho-Sang wearing 66 is a controversy. He’s doing it with the best of intentions. If Wayne Gretzky’s 99 wasn’t retired, guys would be spearing each other in competition for it. Interesting thing is Ho-Sang wore 66 in juniors, while fellow Islanders prospect Michael Dal Colle wore 71. At AHL Bridgeport, they wear 26 and 17, respectively. I suspect that’s because Chris Lamoriello is now running that team. The Lamoriellos don’t like high numbers unless it’s something special, like Jaromir Jagr’s 68.
I'm considering the Ho Sang number thing a dead issue now, but it was interesting to hear why he and Dal Colle switched their AHL numbers. I know it had come up once or twice on here. |

It was their 8th game on a 9 game road trip and the third different time zone in 3 games. Who cares how it looks at this point you take the 2 points and move on. |

I don't mind the 3v3. Lose the shootout, it's run its course, make the 3v3 10 minutes and get rid of the loser point. if it's tied, you each get 1 point for the tie. You get 2 (for a win), 1(for a tie) or 0. That's it. |

Still think Chris Lamoriello could have taken over as interim GM.

Yeah, you did some quick roster checks and the highest numbers were in the 40's. Think the AHL doesn't allow high numbers. Not sure of the reasoning.

Pretty sure somebody posted that their is a rule in the AHL against wearing numbers higher then 49 or something like that. I think flush cheeks might be wrong on that one |

New plan is to keep JT off of 3 on 3 and the shootout. |

I agree with one minor tweak...10 minutes, no shootout, but put it back to 4-on-4. There's no way they'll make it 10 minutes still tied. 3-on-3 would be a poopshow for 10 minutes. |
