Idk if its just me or what but when it comes to the draft all the info given helps clarify our picks. List the top 10 prospects as u see it & where we pick prolly.
Add if u like any potential trades getting more picks.

We will pick 5-7 with C a priority then top D & wingers if at all.
So its Necas i figure. Trade Tanev for a 1st/prospect pick BPA.
Maybe thats Rasmussen Hague Foote Petterson Thomas Valimaki.
With any luck i hope its Mittelstadt or Vilardi.
Have a side deal with the AV's if we pick Liljgren if they get 1OA for Patrick.
Liljgren/CBJ 2nd for 1OA.

Probably because of the long standing opinions here. Why the focus is to say the Islanders are better then the Canucks therefore coaching change has an impact. Whereas the Canucks are so bad that no coach can do better.

If people are going to have different opinions of players & wrongly post about a players ability character etc. Then information being given contrary to what others post should be welcomed, it educates us all on prospects we may have a little bit more knowledge about than some others on here.
I would hope that when I say I don't like a player because I believe somethin about that player someone shows me information otherwise.
Anyways I don't have to have the same opinion as the rest on here about who the top 5 or 10 are & would be happy with Rasmussen at 6-10.

I agree. But with all due respect, if you look at his highlight package almost all of his goals are scored on the powerplay. I do agree, he's in the top10 for a reason and has skill, but his lack of 5 on 5 scoring is the reason most on here are red flagging him.

If we r 8OA or worse who we pick opens up a ton.
All depends on who falls IMO.
Rasmussen might make more sense to me maybe.
Trading down a few spots to 10-15OA + a 2nd i like many players in that range & who could fall there.

This kid looks interesting but so do all the others. What probably will be accurate is to see where Nucks draft and if any other teams above them are and who they may take.

WD will be in high demand? Maybe in the AHL/CHL, but I don't think he's cut out to be a head coach in the NHL. Seems like a good communicator, great guy, etc. Team plays hard for him, but he's a horrible tactician.

It's funny how before the coaching change the Isles were bottom of the East and being told to sell for a rebuild again. Now they are in a wild card spot. Same players that couldn't hack it before. Interesting huh
