Completely agree, Calgary really only tanked the year after they sold off Iginla/Bowmeester (and they got what... a 3rd? for bennett), then were right back in the hunt.... I really respect that.

It honestly boggles my mind that Treliving didn't pay the tiny price for Bishop....but he's probably holding out for one of these FA goalies in the summer so he doesn't have to pay anything.....

With Tkachuk, and that great 2nd line emerging, they are getting fairly deep, all they need is a starter.... they really should go out and get Miller/MAF for 2 years this summer.

Comets are in a playoff push . Currently now they are ahead % wise over ST, John Ice Dogs and need every hand on deck because SJ has one more win than us. I think when Loui is healthy you will see Gaunce go down and not players come up.

I'm hoping the canucks extend him, just to not have such a good goalie on the market for nothing... Demko, is doing so well in Utica.... can we not just get rid of Markstrom.... I would love if JB sold him off this summer (I don't care what for). Then Demko can do 20 games, we can use Markstroms salary to sign another cheap backup option this summer in case Demko needs another season/ injuries.


Then Demko can backup one of the best American Goalies, and we can stop waiting around for Markstrom to ever find his game.

Subban is awful, and might one day be a 7th d man (after lots of development in the minors)... don't see where all the love is coming from for this guy. He barely produces in the AHL, why would he be any better in the NHL?

Sure. Okay. Mauryballstein gave a list of guys. I said if by TL's comments they sign them now and bring in for a look would be good. Plus BB. Give an end of season entertainment for fans to look at more potential. Plus add to depth pool for competition for next season and development on Comets.

I believe they can start signing guys in March once their season is over. Nucks can up offer over other teams with shot on roster now and burning a year of ELC.

I have faith in JBs ability to make little deals. Though I can't wait to see what Boeser/OJ can do in camp next year... if those pieces work out this team is good in the hood
