Well, I never was a Dave Tomlinson fan. I hated how when they first signed him they promoted him as ex-nhler..... they never said it was for a brief cup of coffee.

I still miss Tommy Larchied and wish he could have retired on his own.

I am excited to see how Sportsnet is going to handle the Canuck broadcasts. Will they buy 1410? CKNW? Man, that would SAVE CKNW as they have been awful your years now.

Their TV broadcasts have been terrible, particularly the Vancouver regional games. They struggle to have decent play-by-play guys as it is, so I have low expectations for radio. I do hope though that this brings a greater presence in BC so they can improve all aspects of Canuck entertainment

I thought the same before I checked Berniers numbers and then Gibson being hurt a bit. Not saying its 100% on JB but if the Ducks had the chance to upgrade on the cheap its totally on them. Sucks either way for us.

I wonder how long they have the Otta/Win/Tor rights for because those are literally their last stand before bankruptcy... hopefully Sportsnet picks up the CFL.

NAAAAA......I think its like popeye with spinach. Justs adds some punch.

yeah its turning out to be a pretty nice trade. Will be exciting to see how he pans out in the long run.
Dahlen has been a interesting return from the Burrows trade. Hat trick and 5 points in his last playoff game yesterday is SEL div2. Hopefully he turns into something special for us.

I like those guys, Shorty is great and Garrett is a homer for entertainment purposes, but the intermission is bruuuutalll. Irfan is easily the worst interviewer I have seen. They need to do a big talent search regardless if they can simultaneously broadcast Shorty's voice on TV and radio

I would assume so, though i quite enjoy participating in, and contributing to, the hysteria from time to time.

In all honesty, this season is lost. There's only so much prospect worship and coach hating to be done....

I'd still take Patrick over Hischier because while Hischier might have a higher ceiling, I see him as a boom/bust player. Patrick is much more well-rounded and likely has a better shot at hitting his ceiling as a Matt Duchene/Ryan O'Reilly type 1C
