How do you provide proof of something that didn't happen lol. Isn't that what you are supposed to provide making an allegation. Don't Trump me with a pivot and reversal of burden. You know you got jack that JB got offers and chose to keep Miller.

you lost me...
I had said that I can see the reasoning why Benning kept Miller, given the injury to Markstrom in the superskills and the lack of market for goalies at the TDL. And you say "no one made an offer on Miller". I am asking for proof to your statement. I said that Benning likely kept Miller in good faith as he has made multiple public comments about resigning him. And to your last sentence, I don't know that Benning got offers and DIDN'T move him, I have not heard that. That is why I am asking for proof. I have no idea why the kept Miller, but I stated that I can see why they kept him IF that is what they were planning the entire time.

its not newsworthy at all. Its a joke. The kid seems like a bit of a dink but his debut should not be overshadowed with this crap - Codes1087
It's his fault for picking the number. I cant believe people actually defend him for choosing #66. ANY OTHER number and it wouldn't have been an issue.
He's a douche, and this decision just proves why the islanders sent him back to junior last year after sleeping in.

Nobody knows if an offer was made. I am guessing that one wasn't. My reasoning, Miller was made available and then apparently pulled from the market the night before. I am guessing that there wasn't interest from SJ or ANA so they publicly announced he was staying. Makes sense right?

How do you know? What can you base that on? - Nuck4U
Them making the playoffs in one of the toughest divisions in each of the past 2 years (also 3 of past 4), making it to round 2 last year with nearly the same roster?
With Halak gone they have had more stable goaltending from the beginning of the year as well

I was talking about effect on team with coaching change.

look it up based off of facts then.
Look at the stats of the NYI up until the the coaching change and compare them to the Canucks at the same time.
You would be hard pressed to find any stat that the Canucks edge out the Islanders in.

You said that people were calling for the Islanders to rebuild, players couldnt hack it anymore, then they changed coaches and now are in the wildcard hunt.
Retinalz said they have a much better team than us, it [Vancouver's situation] is more than a coaching change.
You questioned proof, to which I gave you. They are in a win now mode, they had success the past few seasons and need to show Tavares thats the direction if they want to persuade him to stay around. Vancouver couldnt contend with Babcock, Q, Hitch, Bowman and Arbour behind the bench at the same time time

I think Nolan Patrick still goes #1.
Odds are we aren't picking the 1st OA, but that's who i'd take.
Big C that we need. Huge Ceiling, could be a great 1-2 with Bo.
He returned from his injury Jan. 13, and in 23 games has 34 points (14 goals, 20 assists) and is a plus-7. He has 42 points (18 goals, 24 assists) and is a plus-10 in 28 games this season.
With creative editing, even the Ultimate Warrior (RIP) can be funny......(if someone is offended......grow up )
Back to hockey. NYI makes me nervous. Maybe flashbacks to that game a couple years ago, where we had a game won, and pooped the bed in the third. (I think Lack was playing). They have skill and talent. If we win, I predict it a close game like 2-1. If we lose, my guess it'll be bad..... like a 0-5 or 1-7.
Ho Sang knows HOCKEY (in general), is gonna bust his balls about his number until he backs it up. Kid is a bit douchy, but I like that. Kinda like Goldy....confidence can be infectious. Give the kid a inch....he'll make us look silly....(Tree, one good check, 1st period might fix that though)
Maybe he falls in our lap, but knowing our luck no. - Bettmanhatesus
If we are ever going to get a lotto win this is hopefully the year. Next year I think the top 7 players or so are supposed to be as good or better than the top two this year.
Canucks can only loose out so many times... I hope
