Gary Tomlisen is the biggest HACK in Vancouver sports, I hate seeing him butcher Tryamkins name every night (the segments in between periods with Valk, Tomlinsen and Dan Murphy are crap) and his opinions epitomize the average unknowledgeable fan. Is he TSN? If he is then even better, TSN is awful. although I do like the canucks hockey lunch (sekeres and price?)

WD is fine while we r getting younger & he can develop them.
No extension needed & next year is a show me season.
From the 20 game mark & on be prepared for a coaching change if progress is stumbling. The PP is our most glaring problem & it is on WD to improve it.

As for the draft i like Mittelstadt or Necas in our draft range.
Rasmussen is not a playmaker hence not wanted.
Tippett is a sniper but we need a playmaking C & more wingers doesn't help us.
Other option for me is trading for another 1st & pick BPA maybe its D.

No probs if OJ cracks the roster next season expecting that a D is traded.

Stop beating a dead horse. None of us would be unhappy if we took him outside the top 10. Or possible after 8oa. But pretty much everyone agrees that Patrick, Hischier, Vilardi, Mittlestadt are better picks. and some people have at least 1 other center before they have Ras. There are also wingers that would be better to have than him.

Whatever.

If people are going to have different opinions of players & wrongly post about a players ability character etc. Then information being given contrary to what others post should be welcomed, it educates us all on prospects we may have a little bit more knowledge about than some others on here.
I would hope that when I say I don't like a player because I believe somethin about that player someone shows me information otherwise.
Anyways I don't have to have the same opinion as the rest on here about who the top 5 or 10 are & would be happy with Rasmussen at 6-10.
