Unless hextall gets serious and builds through the draft with top ten picks.This team will never compete with a team like the leafs.I don't care who is coming.They will not be better than Marner,Matthew's,Nylander etc.If I were gm I would do all I can to trade both Giroux and voracek.Pick in the top ten the next few years.Then you have a chance.Or you make some amazing trades that can help this team now.Which will cost you your D prospects.

I just wanted to apologize for the mean things I said earlier this week before the Leafs-Flyers game. I didn't mean those things, and that isn't who I am.
The truth is I really liked Rocky V, Lauren Hart's bum looks good in jeans, the Philadelphia Freedom was my favourite tennis team and Tastykakes are indeed tasty.
Now go out and beat the Bruins! |

Schenn was a top 5 pick

And at the time of his draft he was called a prototypical 2nd line center. Not a top elite talent. He got unfairly labeled as the best prospect not in the NHL after a great WJC.
Not his fault that he hasn't reached the 'potential' some put on him based off 11 or so games.
