Remember we traded away a few guys that would have been in the AHL right now. Compher for example would probably be 1C down there right now if it weren't for RoR. Now that we aren't trading so many picks away I think we will see the farm team rise over the next couple years.

It would be unprecedented for us in this millennia, but I think guys like Pu, Borgen, Fitz, Murray, Hagel, and Stephens could all see significant time in the A. If that is the case, our team would be significantly better than it is now.

It's still the GM's responsibility to surround that hockey team with Talent even if it's a AHL

All true as well. If it weren't for trades and a couple guys skipping the step...they'd probably be a pretty decent team. The log jam will probably start next year, but a couple from now, Rochester may have a couple good prospects to help get some Ws.
