This is true. Either they are disinterested or just playing hurt who knows. They bobbled the puck out there yesterday like a sophomore fighting for ice time. Sbisa to me looks just horrendous and back to normal…he really has to go and can't be here next year. See where it goes… - LordHumungous
I hope they are disinterested |

Played a Cup quality team last night but man its getting a bit tiresome watching them give up 40 plus shots on a nightly basis. As a five man unit they're terrible defensively. You don't have much success, even as a way less talented team, unless you keep turnovers to a minimum and defend better in your own zone. |

I just watched the After Hours Ryan Miller interview. I really like the guy. If we could move Marksrtom for an early 2nd at the draft we should. Then sign Miller for the money we are paying Markstrom. In all honesty if it wasn't for him we would be the Avalanche. |

I wonder why he'd want to be a part of this though? Canucks have five years of building in front of them in my opinion. |

The HNIC panel touched on that as well. As well as Miller has played why would he sign with a rebuilding team when he will have interest from many clubs in the off-season for a higher dollar amount?
I know we are waiting for Demko but I would like to see Miller gone and Marky have a legit shot at the no 1 not living in Miller's shadow. Marky has shown holes in his game but he has also shown he can put up Miller like numbers I just think with the rebuild on Miller is gone which is fine. |

With the amount of free agent goalies available it seems there isn't much of a trade market for goalies this season. If that's what you want to happen for Marky might have to wait to TDL next season. That's if they give Miller a 2 year deal. |

I agree, I think Markstrom is an adequate starter for a bad team. He's had some solid games when he was playing a lot. Let him run with it and continue to build. |

Maybe. If they bring in Guadette who's season is over then yes I see that happening now. |

If San Jose doesn't win the cup and its because of goaltendin , they could move fast on a deal with Miller. July will be interesting.
I like Miller. I know the numbers don't show it and Markstrom hasn't got the ice time but Miller is a better goalie at his age than Marky who is in his prime. Miller steals games. I can't say the same of Markstrom. Though he is better than Lack who is probably out of a job this summer. |

Possible but Sharks goaltending seems solid enough. I just want them to win the Cup.
It's the Ducks I think that aren't good enough. For a window shutting vet loaded team you'd think Miller would be their guy. Problem for all those Cali teams is the Cap. Nucks can offer more and #1 job.
But maybe Vegas is the team that offers more. That's who I think could be Nucks biggest competition for signing Miller. They have indicated they want to do it. |

I didn't like Lack. He was never serious enough. Hockey is supposed to be fun but at that level you have to be serious about winning. |

Then wouldn't Gaudette have to sign a PTO to go to Comets now?
If you are signing him to his ELC to burn a year as enticement to leave college then you would think they would give him games here. Shut down the wounded and have him play out the rest of these garbage time games.
What's the worse that can happen, Canucks lose? Guadette learn what's missing in his game for the pros? No harm there and can set up for next camp fight who stays and who works on game in AHL. |
